Entebbe International Airport Surpasses 100,000 Passengers Mark

Entebbe International Airport handled 83,483 arriving and 93,884 departing passengers in Feb 2024, a total of 177,367 international passengers, an average of 6,116 per day.
This was 39,162 more than was handled in Feb 2023. Jan 2024 recorded 196,199 pax, including 1,918 specifically for NAM/G77, according to figures released by the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) Spokesman Vianney Luggya.
The impressive figures nearly 100,000 record mark reflect the positive trends of international travelers visiting Uganda and a boost for the country’s tourism sector which is also steadily recovering for three years Covid-19 battering .
Ugandans have since taken to Twitter now X to thank UCAA and all other aviation industry players for improving services at the expanded Entebbe International airport.
