A section of the radical youths in People Power Movement led by Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine are accusing their leader of ‘swindling their money’ after exposing their lives to danger trying to defend the cause for change.

The Nilewires has established that many of these young men and women who in the recent past would sacrifice lives to safeguard their ‘leader’ are threatening to defect to the ruling party “NRM” shouldn’t he share with them 28 million Euros he obtained as funding while on a recent trip in UK, Caribbean, and USA.

Our credible source well placed in people power who is very close to Kyagulanyi commonly known as Bobi Wine believes that their leader Bobi Wine has started betraying them which has instilled fears among his group.

The source also reveals that they recently approached a high ranking official in NRM party.

The official who was approached is a confidant to President Museveni and sources found out that he has recently been tasked to execute a stealthy mission within Kampala and Wakiso.

“He bridges the gap between the youth and President Museveni. Therefore, his role is to see majority youth in the two districts rally behind Museveni in the next election,” the source says.

“The angry radical people power youth have since sought an audience with President Museveni since they have been betrayed by Bobi Wine,” our other internal sources reveal.

A separate source in People Power narrated how Bobi Wine swore never to give up politics as it’s a safe haven for reaping billions of dollars.

The ghetto gladiator as he prefers to be addressed made the comments after returning from Havard, U.S where he had been last year in February.

“He returned with good money. But known for his frugality, he didn’t share with his team.”

“Shockingly we know he receives money whenever he flies out of the country. We have been patient enough waiting to see whether he thinks about us, the foot soldiers,” said an insider.

The group threatening to defect is comprised of those who have been involved in social media campaigns for Bobi Wine and those tasked to conduct intelligence and the diehards that engage state security in street battles.

“The boys have invested the little resources they have. They use data to constantly respond and discredit the state, others use their fuel and cash to push the cause but in the end, they have gained nothing,” said a source.

However, what dismays the seemingly disenchanted section of ‘red top militia’ is the rate at which their leader Hon. Kyagulanyi is acquiring properties in Kampala.

“We know what he has bought since he started politics….we will expose him,” added a source.

Bobi’s followers, this website has learned have been trying to access him since he quietly returned but in vain.

He couldn’t respond to our repeated calls in an effort to seek comment on the heaps of allegations against him. It must be noted that the cash fight among opposition bigwigs ‘killed’ Walk to Work protests, the only way perceived as Museveni’s exit in 2011.

However, the participants began accusing opposition icon Kizza Besigye of ‘eating their money.” Gradually key members quit the protests and the famous Walk to Work died a natural death.
