Ben Kumumanya, PS, Ministry of Local Government has directed, Local Government Engineers to properly document all infrastructure works within their Local Governments. This involves providing a comprehensive inventory of all roads within their areas of jurisdiction. The reports should clearly indicate the parishes served (in line with PDM) and the respective sub-counties.

He further urged the Engineers to work closely with District and City Resident Commissioners to strengthen accountability. He encouraged all those in acting positions to fill up 22 positions for LG Engineers that have been advertised in various Local Governments.

Mr. Kumumanya was addressing a meeting of District, City, and Municipal Engineers taking place at Imperial Royale Hotel, Kampala .
