A terrible accident happened today, April 17, 2024, at the traffic lights near Nkumba University on the Entebbe-Kampala expressway.
A cement mixer truck lost control and crashed into barriers before landing on top of a Mitsubishi RVR car RVR UBQ 371P beneath its weight.

Eyewitnesses recounted scenes of horror as a cement mixer truck, its driver battling to maintain control, veered off course and collided with barriers before catastrophically crushing a Mitsubishi .

The incident brought traffic to a standstill as traffic officers rushed to the scene in a bid to restore order amidst the ensuing pandemonium.

Details emerging from witnesses paint a grim picture of the moments leading up to the collision. One observer, who wished to remain anonymous, described a deafening noise of screeching metal as the cement-laden behemoth went off its intended path, hurtling towards inevitable disaster.

Tragically, the Mitsubishi RVR UBQ 371P bore the brunt of the collision, its once pristine frame mangled and deformed under the crushing weight of the cement mixer truck.

Despite efforts of emergency responders, the presumably sole occupant of the Mitsubishi, also the driver, remains trapped in the twisted wreckage.

Meanwhile, amidst the chaos and confusion, the driver of the cement mixer truck emerged from the wreckage, miraculously unscathed but visibly shaken. Witnesses recounted how he staggered away from the scene, his footsteps faltering as he made his way towards a nearby medical facility, no doubt in need of urgent attention and care.
