The Corporate Games Uganda officially launched its ninth season at the Jeph International University in Butabika, with the next event, the “Wellness Outing,” already scheduled for April 12th.
The season opener, themed the “Women’s Edition,” successfully integrated a massive coalition of partners, including NBS Sport, NRG Radio, Ruby Hospital, UBC, Jeph International University, Lincoln Aquatics, MovingAds, High 5 Media, 360 Lyf, Blacklyf, Node Group, and Rwenzori Pure Natural Mineral Water. The event brought together over fifty organizations for a day defined by high-intensity competition and corporate networking.
The 2026 season was officially inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Ms. Sarah Kagingo, Vice Chairperson of the Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU). In her keynote address, she emphasized the link between employee wellness and productivity, commending the league’s dedication to maternal health through its
philanthropic initiatives. She appealed to corporate members of the private sector to sign up and participate in the games.
Present at the launch was the President of the Woodball Association of Africa, Mr. Paul Mark Kayongo, who teed off the woodball competition. Reflecting on the growth of the sport within the corporate sector, Mr. Kayongoremarked:”Woodball has become a cornerstone of corporate engagement in Uganda. Seeing the precision and passion displayed by these professionals today confirms that we are not just playing a game, but building a culture of discipline and focus that translates directly from the green to the
boardroom.”

In recognition of Women’s Month, outstanding female players were awarded gas cylinders from Stabex International, while others received advanced wearable and audio gadgets from Blacklyf. To support her continued fitness journey, the Chief Guest was presented with a state-of-the-art Blacklyf smartwatch to track her professional and workout sessions.
“The Season of Vibes is about more than just sports; it is about the culture of excellence and the synergy of the Ugandan corporate community,” said the Chairman ofCorporate Games Uganda. “Yesterday’s zero-incident outing at our new home ground demonstrates that we are ready for our most impactful season yet.”
The Corporate Games Uganda will continue to host monthly outings every second Sunday of the month through November, providing a consistent platform for team building, regional brand visibility, and physical fitness, supported by clean and secure facilities at Jeph International University and medical oversight by Ruby Hospital.
