Children of Soldiers Endorse Museveni for 2021 Polls

A group of soldiers’ children has endorsed President Museveni their presidential flag bearer for the 2021 polls.

The decision has already been subjected to other layers of discussion and determination by the NRM party organs.

The process started with an internal flag-bearer selection process which has so far given the incumbent a go ahead since he was unopposed both for the national chairman position of the NRM and the party presidential flagbearer.

Mr Museveni has been afforded an all-clear sign by the National Executive Committee and the National Delegates’ Conference and was subsequently nominated by the party Electoral Commission recently. He now awaits the vetting by the top party organ CEC.

The children of soldiers met at the Speke Hotel in Kampala and made their choice known, arguing that Mr Museveni should be given another term to further modernize Uganda.
