CDF Offers Lecture of Opportunity to Students at National Defence College

The Chief of Defence Forces, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, this afternoon delivered a lecture of opportunity to students at the National Defence College-Uganda in Jinja.

During the interactive session, the CDF engaged the students in a discussion on the topic “Is a Multipolar World an Advantage or Disadvantage for Africa?”

The students, who belong to the second intake and are nearing the completion of their course, include Brigadiers and Colonels.

Maj Gen Francis Okello, the Commandant of the school, expressed gratitude to the CDF for taking the time to offer the lecture and assured him that the officers were dedicated to applying the knowledge gained for the benefit of Uganda and Africa.

Brig Gen Joseph Balikuddembe, speaking on behalf of the students, thanked the CDF for the opportunity but expressed regret about the limited time for discussion, suggesting that the intriguing topic could have been further debated.

The CDF who is also the senior presidential advisor for special operations, was also given a guided tour of the school to familiarize himself with the capabilities of the facilities, including the library and others.
