Singer Bruno K Accused of Scamming ‘Musama’ Businesswoman
Ugandan musician Bruno K, is embroiled in a controversy with Jalia Nassolo, a businesswoman based in Texas, USA. The issue revolves around a music video shoot for a song titled “Jalia,” which was supposed to be a tribute to Jalia from her family.
According to Jalia, Bruno K failed to show up for the video shoot despite receiving payment for the project. She claims that preparations were made, and costumes were purchased, but Bruno K and the video director didn’t appear on set.
Bruno K, however, has denied the allegations, stating that he arrived early at the scene but the video director was delayed due to traffic. He claims to have tried to reach Jalia to explain the situation, but she was already upset.
In a video clip, Bruno K explained, “I came early, I didn’t even drop my kid at school that day. I was there early. I decided to call the director…He had everything ready for the video shoot. This is Africa, let’s be realistic. Music video directors come late on set, that’s their thing.”
The dispute has sparked a heated debate on social media, with Jalia accusing Bruno K of scamming her and Bruno K defending himself against the allegations.”
