Former army representative in Parliament Brig-Gen Felix Kulayigye has been reappointed spokesperson of the UPDF.
Brig Kulayigye previously served in the same position before he joined Parliament.
The reapportionment was confirmed by Lt Col Ronald Kakurungu who has been acting UPDF spokesperson.
“Brig Gen Felix Kulayigye has been appointed Defence Spokesperson, replacing Brig Gen Flavia Byekwaso currently attending National Defence College Uganda. We welcome back Gen Kulayigye to the Office of Defence Spokesperson,” Col Kakurungu said in a statement.
