Brig Gen Richard Karemire, the Joint Staff Formal Education, Sports, and Culture, has challenged students at Bombo Army Secondary School to embrace discipline and commitment in their academic pursuits.

He reminded them that their potential to become great leaders requires hard work and dedication.

Brig Gen Karemire made this call to the students as he hosted the Speaker of the East African Community Youth Parliament, Amanya Belinda, who delivered an inspirational talk to the students at Bombo Army Secondary School.

Ms. Amanya encouraged the students to strike a balance between their activities and strive for academic excellence. She educated the students on the inner workings and significance of the East African Community, stressing the importance of patriotism and pan-Africanism.

The Headmistress of Bombo Army Secondary School, Mrs. Alice Mary Birungi, promised to ensure that the students put the words of wisdom into practice.

Bombo Army Secondary School provides affordable, quality education to military personnel and their children, children of fallen comrades, and students from the general public.
