Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert  Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, who is the leader of the People Power pressure group, has kicked off his presidential campaigns in America, ahead of the 2021 general election.

Bobi Wine is currently on a tour in America where he traveled with Mityana municipality Member of Parliament Francis Butebi Zaake and several People Power supporters.

On Saturday, Bobi Wine officially kicked off his presidential campaigns in Massachusetts, USA, at   Waltham High School, Lexington St. Waltham Town Hall, where he held a massive rally  that was attended by hundreds of Ugandans and his funders in the USA, during which he reiterated his decision to oust President Yoweri Museveni in 2021.

As a way of expressing their support for his presidential bid, several Ugandans collected thousands of dollars for Bobi Wine and promised to contribute more money to bankroll his campaigns.

It should be noted that Bobi Wine’s source of income was cut off ever since the government of Uganda banned his music concerts through the Police, which prohibited him from performing anywhere in the country, which could be the reason why he has resorted to funding from the Diaspora.
