Bobi Wine Gets Award From American Homosexual Advocates
Renowned advocates of homosexuality have given an award to Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine at an annual function in Chicago – USA.
Kyagulanyi received the award on Tuesday at the Rainbow PUSH Coalition Annual Conference for reportedly supporting their cause.
Between the month of June and July activities are held to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969.
According to available records, the Stonewall riots were a series of spontaneous, violent demonstrations by members of the gay community against a police raid that began in the early morning hours of June 28, 1969, at the Stonewall Inn in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City in America.
As a result, many Gay events are held during this time to recognize their impact in the world!
At the Chicago event, Bobi Wine was flanked by Mityana Municipality MP Francis Zaake.
The singer noted that he was humbled by the award, which he said encourages him to promote their activities in Uganda.
The summit in Chicago started on June 28 and ended July 2.
The conference is organized by the Rev. Jesse Jackson, a famous advocate for homosexuality across the world.
At the event, an excited Bobi Wine is seen rubbing shoulders in some photos with Mr Chasten Buttigieg who is married to a fellow man (Pete Buttigieg).
It is understood that these groups have been injecting money in Bobi Wine’s political activities and subsequently encouraged the singer who is also a renowned drug addict to contest for Uganda’s presidency in 2021.
