Anti-Museveni People And Hating What He Gets Involved In
Today he is commissioning the new state of the art Nile Bridge in Jinja which is the first of its kind on the continent (so should people going to east avoid using this bridge?)
It is so amazing how the anti-Museveni people try hard to either decampaign or rubbish everything the president is involved in.
Just in these few months alone President Museveni commissioned a cement factory in eastern Uganda, so should Ugandans not work there?
He opened the new specialized Mulago hospital, so should Ugandans leave it for Kenyans to use it?
He commissioned the Entebbe express way, so should we move in the jam just because we want to boycott everything Museveni launches?
He gave several trade groups in Kampala and the ghetto around Shs2 billion, so should people stop buying from Kampala shops?
He hosted Kanye West and Kim Kardashian in a bid to promote Uganda’s tourism, so should we reject all tourists who will come because of Kanye and Kim’s endorsement?
He hosted the Uganda Cranes and supported them with Shs200million and gave them a chartered flight to Lesotho, so should we hate Uganda Cranes and refuse the wins they got due to the motivation from the president?
He went to check on the people of Bududa and gave them some relief aid, so should people in Bududa refuse this aid?)
He commissioned the CCTV cameras to beef up security in Kampala, so should we stop going Kampala because they have installed cameras?
Today he is commissioning the new state of the art Nile Bridge in Jinja which is the first of its kind on the continent, so should people going to east avoid using this bridge?
In 2003 he contributed Shs400m to the construction of Church House, so should all Anglicans stop going to church?
He has hosted Popes twice, so should we say that all Catholics should stop attending mass?
He is yet going to host the Pope another time next year (and some will say that the Pope has been paid to visit Uganda so that he brings back the good image that Bobi Wine has tarnished to the world just like they are saying Kanye West was paid by government to visit Uganda).
I thought if we pay tax then government should use it for service delivery, relief aid, improving infrastructure, improving security, improve the well-being of citizens etc. Why then is it that when government uses these taxes you encourage us to boycott them? If we boycott them or decampaign them who loses? We demand for accountability, we appreciate what government does and we pressure government to do what it has failed to do.
