Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Meets Uganda’s Museveni
Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has arrived in Uganda for a one-day state visit.
Mr Abiy was last in Uganda in 2018 and was awarded a medal of honor.
Today’s visit has been confirmed by Uganda’s State House spokesperson Linda Nabusayi who said that Ahmed is due to discuss with Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni on bilateral and regional issues of common interest.
“Holding a meeting with H.E @AbiyAhmedAli, the Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia who is in Uganda for a one-day working visit. I welcome H.E Abiy,” a tweet from the president’s handle noted.
