Gen Katumba Wamala in Critical Condition After Surviving Assassination Attack

Outgoing Minister of Works and Transport and former Chief of Defence Forces Gen Katumba Wamala has been attacked by gunmen in Kisasi, a Kampala near Kampala.

The incident happened on Tuesday morning at around 9am.

According to the video footage that has been circulating on social media, Gen Katumba is seen walking but his clothes are soaked in blood following the attack in which his daughter driver died.

Gen Katumba has been rushed to hospital for medical attention.

The police has cordoned off the crime scene that is a stone throw away from the spot when Andrew Felix Kaweesi was assassinated.
