President Museveni has officially registered as a member of the Uganda Musicians Association.
The President paid membership fees, of Shs50,000 to the association, according to the receipt which was handed to events promoter and Museveni supporter Balaam Barugahara at Kololo.
The president just last month announced he was setting up a studio for local artists to record their songs for as low as Shs10,000.
Sources say that the studio is already functional and located along Masaka road.
Museveni who already has some songs to his name such as another rap and kwezi.
According to the Uganda Musicians Association, Museveni’s registration into the association is a good boost.
