Museveni, Kagame Sign Pact to Improve Uganda-Rwanda Relations

President Yoweri Museveni and his Rwandan counterpart Paul Kagame have signed an agreement to improve relations between their two countries.

According to Don Wanyama, the senior presidential press secretary the agreement is meant to “improve political, security and trade relations between their countries.”

President Museveni earlier today left the country for Angola where the two leaders met and signed the pact in a meeting chaired by the Angolan president.

In a brief message to his social media followers, the president says he is “heading to Angola’s capital Luanda, for a quadripartite summit as part of the continuation of the dialoguing process aimed at finding a lasting solution to the different regional issues.”
