The Vice- Chairperson of the Private Sector Foundation Uganda, Ms. Sarah Kagingo has urged women in the corporate world to embrace resilience and discipline as theyaspire to break glass ceilings in the boardrooms. Kagingo was delivering her speech as a Chief Guest at the Corporate Games at Jeph International University in Butabika Kampala.
The first outing of the corporate games league was dubbed women edition, the season of vibes specifically dedicated to women bringing together over 50 Corporate Companies for a day of sports, networking and community building featuring a range of activities from football, netball, boxing, woodball, Karate and golf simulation.
Corporate Games has built on dedication and steady leadership which continue to inspire the vision, keeps growing stronger and bringing together corporate institutions to celebrate teamwork, wellness, networking and the power of sport.

In her remarks Kagingo recommended the corporate social responsibility exhibited by the corporate games of reaching out to expectant mothers with mama kits in Health Centre III in Gulu and Health Centre III in Nawandala in Iganga district.
“What truly sets this league apart is it’s heart, it’s not merely a collection of trophies but a centre of tangible impact, the proceeds from sweat during annual corporate run have direct destination in the lives of expectant mothers, Sarah Kagingo said.
“Today is a special occasion as we dedicate this kick-off to women’s months, in the boardroom we often speak of breaking glass ceiling but today on this pitch we are here to demonstrate that a corporate woman is a leader in resilience, physical discipline and team spirit, Kagingo added.
