City Hall Magistrate’s  court has remanded TikTok content creator “Pressure 24/7” to Luzira Prison until  March 2026, over charges of hate speech and unlawful use of personal data.

The accused, identified as Ibrahim Musana, a 28-year-old resident of Asante Apartments in Kyanja, Nakawa Division, appeared before Senior Grade One Magistrate Edgar Karakire on Wednesday.

Musana denied the charges but was remanded until March 26, 2026, as investigations into the matter continue.

Prosecution alleges that on March 5, 2026, at Asante Apartments in Kyanja, Nakawa Division, Musana unlawfully obtained and processed personal data including the name and photograph of Chief of Defence Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba without his consent.

The offence is said to contravene Section 35(1) and (2) of the Data Protection and Privacy Act.

Court further heard that using his TikTok account @pressure247, Musana shared information about the UPDF commander claiming he was not fit to hold the office of Chief of Defence Forces.

According to prosecution, the statements were likely to ridicule, degrade or demean the senior military officer, contrary to Section 26(1)(a) and (2) of the Computer Misuse Act.

Musana was last year acquitted of similar charges in a separate case in which he had been accused of making offensive posts on social media about President Museveni, Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi ,Speaker Anita Among and ICT State Minister Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawo and others .

He had appeared before Buganda Road Court where he was accused of posting videos on TikTok insulting several top leaders in Uganda.

Prosecution told court then that the TikToker shared content likely to ridicule President Yoweri Museveni, the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II,

But while addressing court, Musana insisted he did not know that posting the controversial videos was illegal.

He told the magistrate that he has previously been admitted at Butabika National Referral Mental Hospital for mental health treatment.
