Uganda Registration Services Bureau together with its key stakeholders has today celebrated its ISO Certification at their offices in Kololo.
The certification is a big milestone that reflects shared commitment to quality, accountability, and service excellence. According to their social media pages where the news was posted, the certification is not just about meeting international standards; it is about strengthening public trust and continuously improving how we serve Ugandans.
ISO Certification affirms that URSB systems, processes, and people are aligned to delivering consistent, reliable, and transparent services.
Speaking at the celebrations, Dr. Theopista Mary Wenene, Deputy Head of Public Service and Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet, who was the chief guest, explained the significance of the celebration, noting that: “What we are celebrating today is a demonstration of a wise, focused, and committed leadership that has the public interest at the centre.”

She further noted that, “URSB gives the public service hope that with commitment, things can be done and that we can provide quality leadership.” said Wenene.
According to a URSB official, Dr, Theopista’s remarks imply that quality management is not a one-time achievement but a culture, one that demands discipline, teamwork, and an unwavering focus on the citizens.
URSB headed by the Registrar General Mercy K. Kainobwisho remains committed to embedding standards in daily work, enhancing service delivery, and contributing meaningfully to a more efficient and trusted public service.
