The National social security fund has launched the 40 good days campaign which is a corporate social responsibility campaign to impact Lives of people in different parts and regions of the country. The campaign is in celebration of the 40th anniversary with the duty to support communities and widen opportunities.
The fund has so far handed over vital medical equipment to Boroboro health centre 3 to strengthen delivery in the community and also renovated the Kiyunga Muslim Primary School aimed at improving education in the school. Such actions of generosity done by the NSSF reaffirm the fund’s commitment of uplighting lives and ensuring every community gets a fair chance to quality health.
This campaign helps NSSF to not only focus on profit but to integrate social and environmental concerns recognizing that doing good is a good business for Long term success that contributes beyond profits towards society, the environment and stakeholder wellbeing.
” This year the fund celebrates 40 years of making Lives better a journey marked by growth, service and continued commitment to Uganda’s future and as part of the celebrations we have launched a nationwide corporate social responsibility campaign dedicated to uplifting under privileged communities”, said Gerald Paul Kasaato the acting Managing Director of NSSF.
‘”Throughout our 21 branches, we are rolling out impactful initiatives including supplying essential medical equipment to select health centers, supporting schools for children with disabilities, upgrading sanitation facilities, renovating public schools and advancing digital literacy in 13 primary schools in partnership with Uganda Communication Commission and World Vision”‘ added Gerald Paul Kasaato.
