The Public Relations Association of Uganda thursday night awarded and recognized different personalities, corporate companies and agencies within the public relations industry for their outstanding innovation, creativity and contributions to the public relations industry in 2025.
The awards ceremony which took place at Protea Hotel in Kampala was a very vital ceremony in recognizing dedication, innovation and excellence and it also set benchmarks for others to follow and to show that it’s more than just accolades and awards but to inspire standards, creativity and continuous growth .The awards were also meant to elevate professional standards and highlight how strategic communication can build organization and national development.
The ceremony was marked by elegance and characterized by pomp, glamour and colour as association members and their colleagues from the marketing and advertising class were dressed in tuxedo, gowns and fine suits enjoyed good music, cocktails and good meals with Lively and glamorous stage. ” We are thrilled to have you here tonight and thank you for making it despite the december schedule, please be comfortable, drink, eat, be happy, make friends and network, said Irene Nakasiita the President of Public Relations Association of Uganda.
Daniella Makiika of Uganda Marty’s University, Nkozi, worn the best student award while Eriah Lule worn the young communicator of the year award with other people and companies walking away with their awards.
The PRAU awards are implemented under the five year strategic plan which is guided by two main objectives of contributing to professionalism and regulation of Public relations practice in Uganda through ethical and professional standards and value proposition for the association members.
