Kasese FDC Chairman Field Marshal Saulo Matte has suspended Four Members of Parliament from Kasese.

Matte has reportedly suspended Robert Centenary (Kasese Municipality), Jackson Mbajju (Busongora South), Winnie Kiiza (Woman MP) and Foreign Affairs Minister in ‘People’s Government’ Atkins Katusabe.

Matte says he suspended them because of their change in behavior regarding their party (FDC).

At the recent leadership meeting in Kasese, there were several calls from FDC leaders to take disciplinary action against the Four MPs.

All the six legislators in the district are members of FDC but only William Nzoghu and Harold Tonny attended a meeting organised by Dr. Kizza Besigye, something that could have broken the camel’s back.

Some of the MPs are linked to Gen Mugisha Muntu’s ANC while Katusabe recently participated in a meeting that was addressed by President Yoweri Museveni.
