President Yoweri Museveni has sent a congratulatory message to Tanzanian President H.E. Samia Suluhu and the entire Chama Cha Mapinduzi Party upon her re-election.
The President who was represented by the Vice President H.E Jessica Alupo at the swearing in ceremony, in his letter asserted that Suluhu’s victory was clear expression of the trust and confidence that the people of Tanzania placed in her leadership and vision.
He reiterated that the Republic of Uganda regards the United Republic of Tanzania as a strategic and fraternal partner. The two countries share a long standing history of friendship, solidarity and cooperation.
