The Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU) today hosted a technical delegation from the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation on a benchmarking mission at the Authority’s headquarters in Kampala. This visit is a significant step in strengthening the oil and gas sectors of both countries.
According to our sources at the PAU, the team is in Uganda as part of the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation’s ongoing efforts to advance hydrocarbon exploration in the Eyasi Wembere Block, located within the East African Rift Valley.
The Nile Wires has since established that during their visit, they will engage with the PAU and tour key oil and gas operational areas to deepen their understanding of the technologies and processes essential for successful exploration in their country.
Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration
The Tanzanian delegation’s visit to Uganda is aimed at gaining insights into the technologies and processes that have contributed to Uganda’s successful oil and gas exploration.
