Presidents Museveni, Kenyatta in Bilateral Meeting in Entebbe

President Yoweri Museveni and his Kenyan counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta have today held a bilateral meeting at State House in Entebbe.

President Uhuru was in Uganda for a brief working visit where the two leaders discussed matters of mutual interest between Uganda and Kenya including regional interests.

A statement from the State House Department of Press and Public Relations confirmed the two leaders discussed various local and regional issues but did not provide details.

The meeting comes at a time relations between Uganda and her southern neighbor – Rwanda are not at their best. It should be noted that Rwanda’s Paul Kagame was last week in Tanzania for a meeting with president John Pombe Magufuli.
