The Resident District Commissioner of Kikuube Amlan Tumusiime has urged Christians of different churches in Bugahya county in Hoima District where he had been invited as Chief guest on different fundraising drives ahead of the President Museveni’s visit in Bunyoro sub region this week.
Tumusiime was specifically speaking to Christians of Bugandale church of Uganda and Kitongole Miracle Centre where he was the guest of honor. ‘the President will be coming to Bunyoro starting with Bullisa and then Hoima City and other districts and i want to take this opportunity to encourage you to embrace government programmes such as Parish development Model and others, the RDC said.

The Christians were also told to consider good deeds and always be thankful to God as opposed to a person’s religious affiliation so that they can coexist in peace and harmony. Amlan made such remarks because of the cultural diversity and different religious denominations of the people within Bugahya county many being banyoro and Alur.
The RDC contributed 5 million shillings and pledged two million shillings to the three different church communities in Bugandale and Kitongole and commissioning a borehole in Nyakabingo which he constructed for the community. The clergy Men in different churches thanked Amlan for his generosity towards the Church activities and prayed for him in a special way for God to bless him in his Political endeavors ahead of the forthcoming 2026 general elections.
