Earlier today, the NRM Secretary General Richard Todwong, arrived at Lira Hotel in Lira City for an engagement with the party structures, focusing on the implementation of the party’s manifesto and service delivery in the Lango sub-region.
Todwong was warmly received by party officials, including Dr. Tanga Odoi, the Chairperson of the NRM Electoral Commission, and Hon. Sam Engola, the Presidential Advisor on Lango Affairs. Other senior leaders who welcomed the Secretary General included Hon. Emmanuel Dombo, Director of Information, Hajjat Medina Naham, Director of Finance and Administration, Major Rtd. Awich Pollar, Director of External Affairs, Mr. Sam Eyenga, Senior Manager for Mobilization, as well as area Members of Parliament, among others.
During the meeting, the party officials engaged in several discussions with local leaders on issues affecting their communities.
The day before, the NRM Secretariat officially launched ongoing mobilization tours in the Busoga and Lango sub-regions.
These tours are designed to provide a platform for discussions on the impact of government programs and their effectiveness in improving the lives of citizens.
