Miss Uganda Natasha Nyonyozi Visits Kiteezi Landfill
Miss Uganda 2024/25, Natasha Nyonyozi, made a poignant visit to the Kiteezi landfill, dressed in her full pageant attire and crown.
Her visit was aimed at expressing sympathy and support for those affected by the landfill’s dire conditions, but it has sparked debate over the appropriateness of her choice of outfit.
Accompanied by the pageant’s CEO, Brenda Nanyonjo, and other officials, Natasha and her group offered their condolences and provided aid to the victims suffering due to the tragic circumstances at the landfill.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Natasha emphasized their unwavering commitment to assisting the victims in any way possible.
“We have reached out to the victims to sympathize with them and to help in any way we can. I want to thank the Red Cross and the Miss Uganda Pageant for the assistance provided in terms of food and other essential supplies.”
She further urged others to extend their support.
“I encourage everyone who can help to step forward and do so. We are also in discussions with all our sponsors to see how they can contribute to helping the victims. Above all, please remember to keep these people in your prayers.”
