Ndamurani Victoria Makes History as First Miss Tourism Bunyoro From Kiryandongo District

In a breathtaking showcase of beauty, talent, and poise, Ndamurani Victoria Abwooli Nyakalebeki was crowned Miss Tourism Bunyoro Region 2024/25 at the prestigious Kabalega Resort in Masindi on Sunday, August 11, 2024.

The event, graced by a distinguished audience, marked a historic achievement for the 22-year-old Makerere University student, who became the first Miss Tourism Bunyoro from Kiryandongo District. Mbabazi Immaculate was named the 1st runner-up, and Ayesiga Daphine secured the position of 2nd runner-up.

The evening’s festivities, held from 8:00 pm to 11:45 pm, celebrated Bunyoro’s rich cultural heritage, featuring performances by local artists and a glamorous ceremony that captivated the audience. Victoria’s triumph was met with resounding applause and cheers, recognizing her intelligence, beauty, and commitment to promoting tourism in Bunyoro.

As the newly crowned queens, Victoria, Immaculate, and Daphine will serve as ambassadors for tourism growth, environmental conservation, and regional development. Their victory is a testament to their dedication and hard work, positioning them to make a positive impact on their community and beyond.

The event drew a range of distinguished guests, including Eng. Asiimwe Jonard, the guest of honor, Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom officials, Miss Tourism Uganda-PA officials, and representatives from Link Bus Services Ltd, who generously offered free one-year transportation services to the top three winners.

Victoria’s historic win signifies a new chapter for the Miss Tourism Bunyoro Region pageant, which seeks to promote tourism growth and development in the region. As the first-ever Miss Tourism Bunyoro from Kiryandongo District, Victoria is set to make a lasting impact on her community and inspire others to follow in her footsteps.

Congratulations to the new Miss Tourism Bunyoro 2024/25, Ndamurani Victoria Abwooli Nyakalebeki, along with Mbabazi Immaculate and Ayesiga Daphine, the 1st and 2nd runners-up, respectively. They will represent the region at the national competition.

The three winners will compete at the national level, representing their region at the Miss Tourism Uganda grand finale, scheduled for September 14 at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
