Piglets Dropped at NUP Headquarters Implicating LOP Ssenyonyi in 1.7 Bribe
Unidentified individuals have today participated in an act of dropping piglets at the National Unity Platform Headquarters in Makerere-Kavule. One of the piglets was marked ‘Joel 1.7 B’.
It is worth noting that for weeks now, there have been allegations that the Leader of Opposition in Parliament and NUP Spokesperson, Joel Ssenyonyi, received UGX 1.7 billion to halt investigations into the operations of the Civil Aviation Authority. A social media campaign, led by former Nation Media Group news reporter Dean Lubowa Ssava, has been exposing Hon. Joel Ssenyonyi in this regard.
This incident has surfaced a day before the planned march by youths to Parliament against corruption in the country, scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, 23rd July, 2024. Security has been heightened to prevent any potential disturbances in case the march takes place.
