Miss Tourism West Nile 2024 Leaves a Sweet Taste in Adjumani

The highly anticipated Miss Tourism West Nile 2024 pageant took place at Aragan Hotel, and it was a night to remember.
Sponsored by MTWA Uganda, Explore Uganda, and the Tourism Board Uganda, the event brought together some of the most talented and beautiful women from the West Nile region.
In the end, Queen Aseru Faith Patricia emerged as the winner of the coveted title, with Anati Sandra Munduru and Awekonimungu Shamirah taking the first and second runner-up positions, respectively.
The event was graced by renowned artist Jackie Chandiru, who stunned the audience with her performance, alongside various individual performers. Although State Minister for Tourism, Hon. Martin Mugarra Bahinduka, was absent, his advocacy for tourism development across all regions was acknowledged.
The pageant celebrated the rich cultural heritage of the West Nile region, with contestants showcasing their talents, intelligence, and beauty. The event featured traditional dances, music, and fashion shows, highlighting the region’s cultural diversity.
Queen Aseru Faith Patricia impressed the judges with her poise, intelligence, and charisma. With a passion for tourism and community development, she will represent the West Nile region at national and international tourism events.
First runner-up Anati Sandra Munduru, a talented young woman passionate about music and art, showcased her creativity and talent. She will work closely with Queen Aseru to promote tourism in the region.
Second runner-up Awekonimungu Shamirah demonstrated her dedication to community development and impressed the judges with her compassion and intelligence. She aims to make a positive impact in her community.
The Miss Tourism West Nile 2024 pageant was a resounding success, highlighting the beauty and talent of the West Nile region. The event is expected to boost tourism in the area and showcase Uganda’s rich cultural heritage.
The three winners will represent their region at the national level, competing with other regional winners for the title of Miss Tourism Uganda on September 14th at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
