AMAFH FARMS Ltd CEO Meets 1st Deputy Prime Minister Kadaga
The first Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for East African Community Affairs, Rebecca Kadaga, hosted the CEO of AMAFH FARMS Ltd, Movi Asim, along with the company’s business partner, Mukungu Nasser.
AMAFH FARMS Ltd, established in 2003, owns an agricultural farm spanning approximately 1,200 acres, or roughly 2 square miles, located in Mityana – Nambale, Uganda. The farm is dedicated to advancing rural agriculture by promoting the cultivation of macadamia nuts, thereby ensuring sustainable household income generation.
The delegation briefed Minister Kadaga on their initiatives, which include providing training, employment, and market access for farmers. Mr. Movi Asim highlighted that his company prioritizes youth, women, and persons with disabilities, showcasing the farm’s commitment to shared prosperity and its positive impact on both the economy and local communities.
Minister Kadaga expressed her satisfaction with the work AMAFH FARMS is doing in Uganda and encouraged them to expand their programs to other districts in the country.
