Deputy PM Kadaga Visits Kisumu, Discusses EAC Integration
The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for East African Community Affairs, Hon. Rebecca Kadaga, is currently on a one-day working visit to Kisumu. The Minister began her tour of duty with a courtesy call to the County Governor of Kisumu, H.E Prof. Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o, at the county headquarters. Following the courtesy call, Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga, accompanied by the Minister for Water and Environment, Sam Cheptoris, and a technical staff team from the Ministry of East African Community Affairs (MEACA) – Uganda, led by Permanent Secretary Edith Mwanje, embarked on a guided tour to inspect the progress of the ongoing construction of the Lake Victoria Basin Commission (LVBC) headquarters.
