PM Nabbanja to Officiate at Opening of Key Road Projects on Masaka Highway
The Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja, is slated to preside over the Groundbreaking Ceremony for two pivotal road projects today.
The ceremony will mark the commencement of the reconstruction of the Masaka—Kyotera—Mutukula road project, spanning an impressive 89.5 kilometers, as well as the rehabilitation of the Nyendo—Villa Maria road covering 11 kilometers, alongside the upgrading of Access Roads totaling 7 kilometers to paved standard.
This initiative, orchestrated by the Government of Uganda and executed under the auspices of the Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA), underscores the commitment of the Ugandan government to bolstering infrastructure development and promoting economic growth across the nation.
The Masaka—Kyotera—Mutukula road project holds particular significance as it serves as a vital transportation artery connecting major economic hubs within Uganda and neighboring countries.
