In Luwero district, the police have arrested the owner of a Brothel Bar in Bombo town council for stabbing a prostitute over a money disagreement.
The incident happened on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, around 1:00 AM, at Namaliga West village, Bombo parish, Nyimbwa subcounty.
The deceased is identified as Orishaba Annet, also known as Ketti, 29. She worked as a sex worker at the Brothel Bar and lived in the same area.
According to Sam Twineamazima, initial investigations suggest that on the fateful day, Orishaba allegedly attacked her boss Kabogozza Mustafa, also known as Musunda, demanding her payment. This led to an argument between them, during which Kabogozza stabbed and strangled Orishaba to death.
He then moved her body to the Nkokojeru Lc1 valley, where locals found it in the morning.
Twineamazima reveals that locals reported the incident to the Bombo police station, and the police team, including forensic experts and homicide detectives, visited the scene.
He says evidence was collected from the scene.and statements taken from witnesses. Kabogozza remains in police custody while the body was taken to Mulago City Mortuary for a postmortem examination.
