Education Minister Janet Museveni to Release UBTEB Exam Results for July-August 2023

The Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Kataha Museveni, who also the First Lady, is set to unveil the Uganda Business and Technical Examinations (UBTEB) results for the July-August 2023 period this week.

According to the UBTEB Board, the results will be officially disclosed on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 10 am, within the President’s Office Conference Hall.

These examinations, which commenced on Monday, July 7, 2023, continued until August 24, 2023, across 517 examination centers, with a total of 64,387 candidates participating.

Onesmus Oyesigye, the Executive Secretary of UBTEB, reported that out of these candidates, 19,298 were females.

The technical programs (UCPC, Certificate, and Diploma) attracted the highest number of candidates, with 602,280 participants. Among them, 16,720 were females.

For business programs, there were a total of 3,146 candidates, with the majority, 2,159, being females. Departmental programs had 778 candidates, with 308 of them being females.

The modularized certificates under the Centers of Excellence-Technical enrolled 183 students, out of which 111 were females.
