UPC General Secretary,Okitoi Erisat, Joins NRM

Okitoi Robert Erisat, the General Secretary of the UPC in Amuria district has crossed over to the  ruling NRM party.

Okitoi was warmly received at the NRM headquarters located in, Kyadondo Road in Nakasero, on Thursday by the Secretary General, Rt. Hon. Richard Todwong, welcomed.

Todwong presented  Okitoi with the NRM constitution, manifesto, and branded shirts, encouraging him to thoroughly acquaint himself with the ruling party’s fundamental principles.

“The items I am offering you confirm your full membership in the NRM, and I urge you to read and deeply understand our core ideology,” Todwong stated. He added, “I extend my congratulations to you for this thoughtful decision to join us. You are wholeheartedly welcome, and we hope you feel at home.”

Okitoi expressed his rationale for choosing the NRM, stating, “I have chosen to join the NRM because I believe it holds the key to the future. The sound decision I’ve made is based on the positive aspects I see within the NRM.”
