Unidentified Goons Gang Rape And Murder Kikuube Woman

Kikuube police are hunting for unidentified individuals who raped and strangled a woman to death. The victim, identified as Provia Ninsiima, 40, lived in Rwenkobe village in Kaseeta parish, Kabwoya sub-county.

Ninsiima went missing around 9 p.m. on a Sunday evening, and her disappearance was promptly noticed by the community.

Felix Akankwasa, the LCI Chairperson of Rwenkobe village, reported that local residents initiated a search for Ninsiima and informed the police.

Tragically, Ninsiima’s lifeless body was discovered on Monday evening in a sugar cane plantation within the same village.

Julius Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson, stated that her body was taken to Kikuube Health Center IV for a postmortem examination. The postmortem report revealed that Ninsiima had been gang-raped before being strangled to death.

Hakiza confirmed that the police had launched a search for the suspects responsible for this heinous crime. He urged the public to collaborate with law enforcement by providing any valuable information that could lead to the apprehension and detention of the culprits.
