President Museveni Travels To The UAE On A 3-day Visit

President Yoweri Museveni on Sunday morning set off to the  United Arab Emirates(UAE) on a three day visit to meet with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE and leader of Abu Dhabi.

The president is also expected to attend the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Summit and meet with government officials and the business community in the UAE.

The summit attended by various heads of State and policy makers started on Sunday and will run up to January 19. It focuses on food and water security, energy access, industrial decarbonisation, health and climate adaptation.

The summit set to drive the discussion around climate change before  Cop 28.

President Museveni was seen off at Entebbe International Airport by the Vice President, H.E Jessica Alupo, the Minister for Presidency, Hon. Babirye Milly Babalanda, the Head of  Public Service and Secretary to Cabinet, Ms. Lucy Nakyobe.

The service officers were Lt. Gen. Charles Okidi,Commander Airforce; Brig. Gen. Christopher Damulira, Director Crime Intelligence Uganda Police Force and Deputy Commissioner General Uganda Prisons Samuel Akena.
