NRA Bush War Fighter Col Ahmed Kashillingi Passes on

National Resistance Army fighter Col Ahmed Kashillingi is dead, the minister of security Maj Gen Jim Muhwezi has announced.

“I am saddened to announce the passing of comrade Lt Col (rtd) Ahmed Kashilling. He was a brave and dedicated soldier. He served his country until now when he has gone be with his creator. May Allah rest the soul of my departed comrade in eternal peace,” Gen Muhwezi tweeted Thursday afternoon.

Col Kashillingi was mostly talked about as a fearless and well trained commander whose attributes greatly contributed to the NRA victory in 1986.

His son, Hussein Kashillingi, a reknowned lawyer has however not tweeted about his father’s death yet.

Col Kashillingi was in his mid 70s.
