Desperate Kagame to Rwigyema’s Son: Please Come Back Home
Rwandan President Paul Kagame shocked the families attending the wedding of Fred Rwigyema’s daughter, Teta, when he was invited to attend the occasion with presidential remarks.
Kagame who spoke for close to 30 minutes begged the bride to ask her exiled brother to return to Rwanda that his father fought to liberate. “Deliver my message to your brother that I don’t want and I don’t like that Fred’s son is a refugee.”
Kagame also urged Rwigyema’s mother to also speak to her grandson to return to Rwanda, saying what he (Rwigyema’s) son believes about Kagame and Rwigyema’s old times is false. He did not clarify.
There is a widespread belief that the charismatic Rwigyema who was seen as the obvious Rwandan leader after their liberation struggle was shot by his colleagues to the advantage of Kagame who was to later become the president.
Kagame who launched a crazed lecture on why he does not want Fred Rwigema’s son, Eric Gisa Jr, to be outside Rwanda claimed without giving any facts that it is a neighboring country (Uganda) that allegedly misleads Gisa Jr to remain exiled.
The Rwandan strongman then proclaimed that if he died, he will be happy because he does not owe anyone any debt – not even God.
