CDF Gen Kainerugaba Meets Czech Republic Delegation to Discuss Security, Bilateral Relations

General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the Chief of Defence Forces and Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations welcomed a delegation from the Czech Republic at the Special Forces Command Headquarters in Entebbe.

The delegation, led by Ms. Katerina Sequensova, Director General for Non-European Countries, Economic and Development Cooperation of the Czech Republic, paid a courtesy call to discuss strengthening security and bilateral relations between Uganda and the Czech Republic.

Ms. Sequensova was accompanied by Mr. Jan Spiler, Chief of Intergovernmental Defence Cooperation, Lt. Col. Borijov Jurenka, the Military and Air Defence Attaché, and Mr. Vaclav Prasil, Director of Sub-Saharan Africa. The delegation also included Ambassador Nicol Adamcova and Mr. Stephen Kaboyo, the Czech Republic Honorary Consul in Uganda.

The meeting was attended by the Commander of the Special Forces Command, Major General BD Mugisha, and other senior SFC officers. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in defense and exploring avenues for further economic and developmental collaboration between the two countries.
